While browsing this website, data concerning identified or identifiable persons may be processed. The Data Controller is Plug-in S.r.l., seated in Largo Umberto Boccioni 1 – 21040 Origgio (VA).
Data Protection Officer
The Data Controller, pursuant to article 37 of EU Regulation 2016/679, has appointed a Data Protection Officer (DPO) who can be contacted at the following e-mail: email@example.com.
Data processing location
The processing operations connected with the web services of this website take place at the Data Controller’s head office and are exclusively handled by technical personnel properly appointed to the processing, or by any persons in charge of occasional maintenance operations.
Types of data processed
The IT systems and the software procedures used to operate this website acquire, during their normal operation, some personal data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols. This information is not collected in order to be associated with identified Data Subjects, but by its very nature could allow users to be identified. This category of data includes IP addresses or domain names of the computers used by the users connecting to the site, URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) of requested resources, the time of the request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in response, the numerical code indicating the status of the response from the server (successful, error, etc..) and other parameters relating to the user’s operating system and computer environment. These data are exclusively used to obtain anonymous statistical information on the use of the site and to check its proper functioning and are deleted immediately after the processing. The data could also be used to ascertain responsibility in the event of hypothetical computer crimes against the site.
Data freely provided by the user
The optional, explicit, and voluntary submission of personal data by the user in the registration forms on this site involves the subsequent acquisition of data provided by the sender, necessary for the provision of the requested service. The collected data will be kept – for each type of processed data – exclusively for the time necessary to fulfil the specific purposes indicated in the specific summary information notices displayed on the pages of the site and prepared for particular services.
Cookies are small text files containing a certain amount of information exchanged between a website and the user’s terminal (usually the browser). They are mainly used for the purpose of operating websites and making them operate more efficiently, as well as for the purpose of providing information to the owners of the site. Cookies can be both session and persistent cookies. Session cookies remain stored in the terminal for a short period of time and are deleted as soon as the user closes the browser. Their use is strictly limited to the transmission of session identifiers (consisting of random numbers generated by the server) necessary to allow a safe and efficient browsing of the site. Persistent cookies, on the other hand, remain stored in the user’s terminal until a set deadline. Since they are not deleted directly when the browser is closed, they make it possible to remember the choices made by the user on the site and to collect information about the webpages visited by the user, the frequency with which the site is visited and to identify the user’s navigation path, in order to improve the browsing experience on this site. Session or persistent cookies may be First Party or Third Party cookies, depending on whether the person who installs them on the user’s terminal is the same operator of the site that the user is visiting (we will then be referring to First Party cookies) or a different subject (we will then be referring to Third Party cookies).
Below, a detailed description of the cookies used:
|Nome Cookie||Scadenza predefinita||Descrizione Cookie|
|CookieLawInfoConsent||1 hour||Technical cookie useful to store the cookies’ consent choices carried out by the user|
|viewed_cookie_policy||1 year||Allows the functioning of the banner which informs of the cookie’s presence on the site|
|cookielawinfo-checkbox-non-necessary||1 hour||Keeps track of the approved cookies|
|cookielawinfo-checkbox-necessary||1 hour||Keeps track of the type of approved cookies|
|quform_session_xxx||At the closure of the browser||Technical cookie useful for the operation of the Information Request form|
|wp-wpml_current_language||1 day||Technical cookie useful for multilingual support, it stores the current language.|
|wordpress_test_cookie||At the closure of the browser||It checks if cookies can be placed|
Normally, browsers allow you to control most cookies through your browser’s settings. Please note, however, that the total or partial disabling of the so-called technical cookies may compromise the employment of the website’s functions. In any case, if the user does not wish to receive any type of cookie on his/her computer, neither from this site, nor from others, he/she can raise the level of data protection by changing the security settings of the browser:

The discretionary nature of data provision
Apart from what has been said for browsing data, the user is free to provide the personal data or not. However, the non-provision of data may entail the impossibility to obtain what has been requested, or the limitation of the employment of the web site.
Personal data are processed, even with the use of automated tools, for the time strictly necessary for the obtainment of the purposes for which they have been collected. Specific security measures are implemented in order to prevent data loss, illicit and incorrect employment of data, and unauthorized accesses. Plug-In S.r.l. has adopted all minimum security measures provided by law, and, based on the main international standards, has adopted further security measures in order to minimize the risks concerning secrecy, availability and integrity of the personal data collected and processed.
Sharing, communication and dissemination of data
The collected data can be transferred or communicated to other companies for activities strictly connected and instrumental to the efficiency of the service, such as the management of the information system. The personal data provided by the users who ask for literature (brochure, leaflets, etc..) are used solely to carry out the service or performance required and are communicated to third parties only if it’s needed for such purpose (companies that take care of packaging, labelling, shipment). Apart from these cases, personal data won’t be either communicated or granted to anybody, unless it’s provided by the agreement or authorized by the subjects. In this case, personal data could be sent to third parties, but only if: a) there is an explicit consent to share the data with third parties; b) the information must be shared with third parties in order to carry out the service required; c) it’s needed to meet requests by the Judicial or Public Security Authority. No data deriving from the web service will be disseminated.
Data Subjects Rights
The legislation on the protection of personal data expressly provides certain rights to the subjects to whom the data refer (the so-called Data Subjects). In particular, with reference to the processing of such data, pursuant to art. 15 and following ones of EU Regulation 2016/679, we remind you of the right to obtain the access to your personal data, the rectification of data (correction of inaccurate data or integration), as well as the erasure of the data if they have processed unlawfully or if one of the reasons specified in Article 17 of the GDPR applies. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority if you believe that your rights as set out herein have not been granted to you.
